Where do I use XP Potions?
XP Potions apply to the Cookie selected in your roster. Open the Cookie detail screen, tap upgrade, and use potions from your inventory. Do not hoard potions on Cookies you plan to replace — feed your main League runner.

Cookie Run Classic has three account-wide upgrades outside any single Cookie: Energy, Jellies, and Bonus Time. For most Cookierun Classic players chasing League rank or Episode progression, the priority is Energy first, then Jellies, then Bonus Time — especially during the first week after June 25, 2026.
Energy raises your Cookie's base stamina every run — longer survival means more Jellies collected and higher League scores. Jellies upgrade boosts the score value of every Jelly you touch. Bonus Time extends the bonus window after spelling B-O-N-U-S-T-I-M-E; it caps at level 30 (11 seconds total), with further levels adding score multiplier only.
Account upgrades apply to all Cookies. That global scaling is why Energy beats cookie-specific spending early. Once Energy and Jellies reach comfortable levels (often around account level 20+), shift Coins toward your main Cookie/Pet pair and equipped Treasures.
| Upgrade | Priority | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Energy | S | More survival time = more score and Coins per run |
| Jellies | A | Flat score multiplier on every Jelly collected |
| Bonus Time | B | Strong late-game; low ROI at account level 1–15 |
This cookie run classic upgrade roadmap assumes F2P pacing. Whales can skip coin bottlenecks but should still respect Combi synergy — raw spending without Treasures underperforms.
| Phase | Focus | Priority | Stop when… |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1–3 | Account Energy + Jellies | S | Energy feels stable in Episode 2+ |
| Day 3–7 | Main Cookie + Combi Pet to lv.8 | S | One full Combi maxed |
| Week 1–2 | 3 Treasures upgraded (unlock lv.25) | A | All slots filled and +3 each |
| Week 2+ | Bonus Time + Power+ Cookies | B | Bonus Time lv.15+ or first Power+ owned |
| Ongoing | League medals → Treasure pulls | A | Score Treasures replace B-tier slots |

Account Energy and Jellies upgrades follow first-day setup
You equip up to 3 Treasures per run. Treasures passively boost score, magnet radius, coin pickup, or revive once on collision. In Cookierun Classic launch meta, upgrading your equipped three beats pulling new random Treasures from gacha.
Use Supreme Treasure Tickets from launch rewards before spending Crystals. After each pull, ask: "Will I equip this in League?" If no, stash it and upgrade what you actually run.
Treasures can evolve with Magic Powder (also called Amateur Baking Powder in some regions). Evolution unlocks stronger passives — prioritize League score Treasures over collection fillers. Failed evolution attempts still yield powder for future crafts.
| Treasure role | Upgrade priority | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Score multiplier | S | League ranking |
| Coin percent / Coin Scale | A | F2P economy — fund future upgrades |
| Magnet / pickup radius | A | Episode Jelly density |
| Daily Crystal (Power+) | S | Long-term account — Crystal Crown class |
| Revive | B | Hell Stage learning, not League push |
Some Cookie Run Classic Cookies carry Power+ — permanent account-wide buffs when owned, even if not equipped. Community launch lists highlight Cheerleader Cookie (passive heal), Special Force Cookie (Jelly spawn / obstacle break), Fairy Cookie (shield), and Cheesecake Cookie (coin generation) as high-priority Power+ investments. Verify availability in your client version — Classic Global may stagger releases vs Kakao.
Power+ Treasures like Crystal Crown or Majestic Beard grant daily Crystals on login. These are long-horizon picks: buy after your first League build stabilizes and Coin income from Episodes is steady, not before your main Cookie hits level 8.
Power+ does not replace account Energy upgrades. Think of Power+ as account multiplier layered on top of a solid Combi — not a substitute for running skill or Treasure levels.
| Entity | Power+ effect (summary) | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Cheerleader Cookie | Passive HP recovery | A |
| Special Force Cookie | Jelly / obstacle utility | A |
| Fairy Cookie | Shield generation | B |
| Cheesecake Cookie | Coins / obstacle break | A |
| Crystal Crown Treasure | Daily Crystals | S |
Coins are the bottleneck for every Cookie Run Classic upgrade. Episode farming, League medals, launch gifts, and codes feed the same pool. Early F2P accounts should target 100,000+ Coins per dedicated farm run once coin-percent Treasures and relay Cookies come online — specialized coin Cookies like Potato Salad Cookie with Buttercream Choco Cookie relay appear in community farm builds (verify in your roster before buying with Crystals).
Spend Coins in this order: account Energy → Jellies → main Cookie + Pet → equipped Treasures → Bonus Time → bench collection. Never buy random shop Cookies before your main Combi is level 8.
Double Coin boosters and coin-percent Treasures stack multiplicatively on farm routes. Save boosters for intentional farm sessions, not League placement matches where score — not Coins — is the goal.
Early Crystals are scarce in Cookierun Classic. The search term cookie run classic reroll spikes at launch because players chase S-tier openers — but Classic launch rewards already grant 300 Crystals, Supreme Treasure Tickets, and event pulls. Reroll only if you understand what you are trading away (time vs. marginal Cookie gains).
Recommended gacha order: Treasure tickets (launch) → main Cookie banner if S-tier → Combi Pet → cosmetic collection. Do not reroll the starter pool repeatedly hoping for Lotus Root Phantom — event banners rotate; check the tier list before committing.
If you pull a new S-tier Cookie mid-progress, switch your main build rather than maintaining two half-upgraded rosters. Transfer XP potions to the new main and park the old Cookie at collection level.

Some builds support a Relay Cookie — a backup runner who continues the run after the primary Cookie falls. Relay selection appears in the pre-run setup when unlocked. Coin-farming relays pair with specialized main Cookies.
Deleting the app without a linked DevPlay account may erase progress. Reroll on a new DevPlay login only if you accept losing the old guest data. See reroll tips above before resetting.
Evolve Treasures you actively equip in League after they reach upgrade cap. Use Magic Powder from decomposition — do not evolve collection fillers before your main three score or coin Treasures are leveled.
